Following the release of iOS 17, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17 updates last week, Apple has now released beta 1 of its forthcoming iOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, macOS Sonoma 14.1, and tvOS 17.1 to developers for testing purposes. The latest beta builds will potentially carry new front-facing additions as well as numerous bug fixes that address issues on the iPhone and Apple Watch models.

If you are a registered developer, you can download and install the latest iSO 17.1 and iPadOS 17,1 beta 1 on your iPhone and iPad right now for free. Simply head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install the latest beta on your iPhone or iPad. As mentioned earlier, iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 could house new features that were announced at the WWDC 2023 event but not released in the initial iOS 17 update. Furthermore, iOS 17 comes with a plethora of bugs that need attention and the latest update could include various fixes.

Other than iOS 17.1, Apple has also released watchOS 10.1 to developers for testing and curating bugs. If you want to check out the latest builds, you can download the first beta through the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Head over to Settings > Software Update > Beta Updates and install watchOS 10.1 beta 1 on your Apple Watch. Make sure that your Apple Watch has over 50 percent battery life and is placed on a charger and in the range of your iPhone.

Earlier this week, Apple released macOS Sonoma to the general public and only a few days after, the company has seen fit to release beta 1 of macOS Sonoma 10.1 to developers alongside iOS 17.1. You can check out the new beta by opting into the beta via the Software Update mechanism in System Settings. Toggle on the Sonoma Developer Beta option in the Beta updates section. Take note that you are required to link your Apple ID with a developer account.

Lastly, Apple has also released tvOS 17,1 beta 1 to developers. You can download the latest beta by opting into the beta through the Settings app on your Apple TV. As mentioned earlier, you will have to link your developer account to your Apple ID to receive the updates over the air.
