The iPhone 15 lineup comes with a plethora of new additions that make it a worthy upgrade over the iPhone 14 series. Apple's new iPhone 15 Pro models feature innovative camera hardware with the ability to capture photos at variable focal lengths. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 models come with Dynamic Island which puts them a lot closer to the 'Pro' models. It was initially rumored that Apple would be increasing the price of the entire iPhone 15 lineup. However, the iPhone 15 Pro prices dropped by more than £100 in the UK compared to last year's iPhone 14 Pro models.
iPhone 15 Pro Models Are More Than £100 Cheaper in The UK Compared to Last Year
If you are not familiar, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus start at the exact same price as the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Additionally, even the iPhone 15 Pro is priced the same as the iPhone 14 Pro, starting at $999. However, the company did increase the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max by $100, starting at $1,199. Take note that the company also bumped up the storage capacity of the iPhone 15 Pro Max base model, coming in at 256GB. What this means is that the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max did not actually change as Apple removed the 128GB option altogether.
As for the prices in the UK, the iPhone 15 Pro will now be available at £999 compared to £1,099 for the iPhone 14 Pro last year. Furthermore, last year's pricing will now get you 256GB of storage capacity on the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is available at the same price as the iPhone 14 Pro Max at £1,199. The company has also reduced the prices of the standard iPhone 15 model by £50. Additionally, the price drops are also evident in the higher storage variants as well which translates to more than £100.
