Acer recently revealed its brand-new Acer Predator X34 V OLED gaming display during an online event which will be available later this year.

The Acer Predator X34 V gaming display offers several features in its 34-inch UWQHD OLED design. The display's max resolution is 3440 x 1440 (21:9), which provides 1000 nits of peak brightness and a high refresh rate of 175 Hz. The DCI-P3 color gamut of the Acer Predator X34 V gaming display is 99% coverage. If you use HDMI, the refresh rate will be limited to 100Hz at the max resolution.
The response rate of the new Acer Predator X34 V gaming display is 0.1 ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG), and the contrast ratio is 1,000,000:1. Standard brightness is set to 250 nits, but can reach a p0eak brightness is 1000 nits @ HDR 3%. The Acer Predator X34 V gaming display has a viewing angle of 178°. The monitor is AMD FreeSync Premium compatible and offers a variable refresh rate (VRR). The curvature of the display is 1800R.
Several inputs are available on the new Acer Predator X34 V display. The new display offers dual HDMI ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4 port, a single USB-Type C (rated at 65 W), DP Alt Mode, USB 3.2 ports for upstream and downstream data transmission, and a 3.5mm audio port. Inside the display are internal dual 5W speakers, and the monitor is VESA mount capable and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certified. Swivel of +/- 20 degrees, a tilt between -5 to 20 degrees, pivoting, and height adjustments will be available.
The company announced that the monitor has eye protection that utilizes BlueLightShield Pro, low-dimming technology, ComfyView anti-glare tech, Eyesafe 2.0 certification, and flicker-free capability. This will allow gamers to play for longer without interruption.
The Acer Predator X34 V display has a launch window of November 2023 and is expected to sell for around $1,299.99 and in international regions for 8,999 RMB. Price is subject to change as several manufacturers are experiencing constant price drops to entice consumers to purchase products this year, and users are showing that they are highly hesitant to buy premium-priced items, settling for used or holding off until prices drop low enough for customers to accept the pricing sufficient to purchase.
