Starting with the lineup, be quiet! had four major announcements made during its Computex 2023 showcase. These include three cases, the Dark Base Pro 901, the Dark Base 701 & the Shadow Base 800 along with a brand new PSU lineup under the Straight Power 12 series which are ATX 3.0 ready.
Starting with the most premium and flagship case design for 2023, be quiet! is offering Dark Base Pro 901, a case that has been designed specifically for enthusiasts with a focus on max airflow and upgraded I/O capabilities. The case comes with reduced reliance on screws and other intrusive yet small parts while users can make use of both covered and mesh Top/Front panels based on their choice. The casing can house up to 420mm radiators on the front and comes with four Silent Wings fans pre-installed. You have the option to go either standard or inverted layouts and there's also a brand new "Advanced" VGA holder that is said to prevent sagging for today's monstrous graphics cards. The casing launches this month for $299.90 / €319.90.
Next up, we have the Dark Base 701 which is an air-flow and performance-optimized chassis that supports up to 360mm radiators and features the same installation layouts as its bigger brother, the Dark Base Pro 901. The PC casing offers great cable management and comes with three Silent Wings Fans pre-installed. The casing adopts tempered glass side-panel windows which come with two ARGB strips on the sides of the front panel to provide a gamer aesthetic. The Dark Base 701 is expected to launch in October this year.
Last on the chassis front is the Shadow Base 800 which is designed to tackle big hardware and supports E-ATX motherboards with up to 420mm radiator support. There will be three variants of the Shadow Base 800. A standard variant with three Pure Wings 3 fans in black color starting at $169.90 / €149.90 and available in September, the Shadow Base 800 DX adds ARGB on the front panel and an ARGB controller which will come in black and white colors with pricing of $184.90 / €164.90 and $189.90 / €169.90, respectively and lastly, the Shadow Base 800 FX which comes with additional ARGB Lightning by using four Light Wings fans and will also include a PWM and ARGB hub (white/black colors).
