For those wondering, users running iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11 will no longer be able to access Apple services, but on the plus side, they will still have access to iCloud, if that matters to them. - watchOS 4 to watchOS 4.2.3

As of early May, access to Apple services, with the exception of iCloud, will stop working on devices running:

Owners running older operating system versions have the choice to update, and since Apple was providing services six years after it released the aforementioned updates, we believe that it is high time to make the switch. For instance, every iPhone that runs iOS 11 can also run iOS 12 effortlessly, so the inhibition to update the handset lies with the owner and not with the device’s ability to run properly.
