There are plenty of spells to learn in Hogwarts Legacy. They will come in handy during missions, combat, and exploration. Locked doors can be opened with Alohomora, while enemies can be disarmed temporarily and damaged with Expelliarmus. Other enchantments, such as Incendio and Protego, can make a difference in many situations.
You can learn all of them, including the Unforgivable Curses if you wish, as you progress in the game. You must complete different quests, either tied to the main story or related to professors’ assignments and relationships with other students, to be able to cast them.

Different types of spells can be unlocked in Hogwarts Legacy. Essential enchantments are a valuable asset during combat and exploration, and Control spells will help you handle a fight without necessarily dealing direct damage.
