New gameplay details emerged online today for Cyberpunk 2077, detailing some very interesting abilities.
The new abilities have been shown during a PAX Australia presentation, as reported by GameSpot. The first ability is called Demon Software, and it basically allows players to hack into the enemy so that they will beat themselves. This sounds like a very good ability to use if you are trying a stealthy approach.
During the same presentation, CDPR showcased the Nano Wire ability. Thanks to this versatile ability, players will be able to hack or connect with other characters and use it slash and kill enemies.
For the rest, the demo shown during PAX Australia is the same one shown during Gamescom two months back, so no new location or quest has been shown.
Our own Chris attended one of the many Cyberpunk 2077 Gamescom presentations, and he was impressed by the scope of the game.
One key point to take away is that this one singular mission was shown over fifty minutes. While aspects were duplicated, you could comfortably call it a half-hour mission, and it's one of so many that will be found within the six districts of Night City. Much like The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 is looking like it will be an undeniably huge game with so much to offer. From what I've seen over these past two years, it's one I'm absolutely looking forward to.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on April 16th 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
