Just like last year, and the years before it, the online Apple Store is down ahead of the big iPhone launch later today.
We are just a few hours away from Apple’s iPhone 11 event and all the bits and pieces are starting to fall into place. The press is making its way to the “By Innovation Only” venue while the online Apple Store is down in order to make room for the new products which everyone is going to bash on for the year to come.
Essentially, if you were hoping to place an order online straight from Apple’s site today, then you definitely chose the wrong day to do it. Still, if you wait until the end of the event, only then you can go ahead and make the purchase, otherwise a physical Apple Store is your best bet at this point.
We are extremely excited to see what Apple has in store for us. The iPhone 11, iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max are some of the obvious announcements but report are flying around today that we might actually see a brand new 10.2-inch entry level iPad alongside an updated Apple TV with new innards. We will, after the event, get to play with the iOS 13 GM, watchOS 6 GM, tvOS 13 GM and if we’re lucky, macOS Catalina GM as well. In other words, this is definitely going to be a packed day and there is a lot of stuff which we haven’t even mentioned here such as the mystical Tile-like tracker from Apple.
For more details on when the event will start in your time zone, make sure you go here. Furthermore, we will be covering each and every announcement from the event live as it unfolds.
