Today, Apple has seen fit to release the second beta of its forthcoming iOS 12.4 to developers. The new build arrives a week after the company seeded the first beta and two weeks after iOS 12.3 was released to the general public. If you’re interested, the latest iOS 12.4 beta 2 is now available to install through the Apple Developer Center. Let’s dive in to see some more details on the new build and whether it possesses any forward-facing addition.
Apple Seeds iOS 12.4 Beta 2 To Developers For Testing Purposes
If you’re a registered developer, you can download iOS 12.4 beta 2 from the Apple Developer Center or via the over-the-air mechanism. However, be sure to note that a proper configuration profile is required which will be installed through the Developer Center.
Initially, there were no front-facing additions added to the table with iOS 12.4 beta 1. At this point, we’re not whether the company has added a new feature. However, we will definitely let you guys know as soon as developers are done tinkering with the new build.
Do take note that since this is an iOS 12.x update, it might house features which are not available as of now, like the Apple Card support. The company is planning to release Apple Card over the summer, so an update to go by at this time makes perfect sense. Apart from this, iOS 12.4 Beta 2 will include bug fixes not addressed in the previous build along with performance enhancements to make the overall experience smooth and fluid.
Other than this, iOS 12.4 could most probably be the last update from the company before iOS 13 is introduced at WWDC 2019 in June. There will be more to the story, so be sure to stay tuned in for more.
This is all for now, folks. What are your thoughts on the latest iOS 12.4 Beta 2? Do you think Apple might have added a major feature to the table? Let us know in the comments.
