Google and Nest have been working to simplify smart home devices while making them more capable at the same time. Well, Google has announced that it is bringing the Home products under the Nest brand. To bolster the notion, Google is adding a bunch of new Nest devices to its lineup including the Next Hub Max. Google Announces The Nest Hub Max With A 10-inch Screen
The Nest Hub Max is the larger version of the Nest Hub which was formerly known as the Google Home Hub. It features a digital photo frame powered by Google Photos and the home view dashboard. With the Nest Hub Max, you get a bigger 10-inch HD display, a smart camera and more. There’s a major improvement in the speaker department as well, as it’s comparatively louder as you’re getting stereo sound along with a rear-facing woofer.
The Hub Max is the perfect device on which you can watch your favorite shows, play YouTube videos and more. The device makes more sense with the Google Assistant. Simply ask the assistant to play a certain video, show videos on how to cook different meals and more.
The product features a Nest Cam which allows you to keep an eye out. You can check things right from the Nest app on your phone. The Nest Cam also contributes to video calls using Google Duo. The camera features several tricks up its sleeves like it automatically keeps you in the center of the frame.
The Nest Hub Max will be available in the U.S for $229 on the Google Store and Best Buy, Target and more. In the UK, the price will be £219 and AU$349 in Australia.
