Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 Might Have A 19:9 Aspect Ratio Suggests An Alleged HTML5 Leak Of The Device
With the Galaxy Note 9, Samsung decided to make the device’s S-Pen an important part of its user experience. Courtesy of upgrades, users can use their S-Pen to remotely control the Galaxy Note 9. This year, however, we expect that Samsung will pay particular attention to the Galaxy Note 10’s rear camera specifications.
While the Korean tech giant tried to keep up with Huawei through launching the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus with a triple rear camera, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer took performance to a higher level with the P30 Pro. As a result, Samsung will have to ensure that it can deliver either similar or better specifications with the Galaxy Note 10.
A device codenamed as SM-N976V has surfaced on HTML5, running Android 9 and on a 412×869 resolution. This suggests that the Note 10 will feature a 19:9 aspect ratio, putting it in the same category as the Galaxy S10 lineup. Since we’re on the topic of the Galaxy Note 10’s display right now, it’s also important to wonder whether Samsung will introduce its Infinity-O display panel on the Galaxy Note 10.
It’s likely that Samsung will, since the Infinity-O panel provides users with more screen real estate. However, if the company does use its newest displays on the Galaxy Note 10, then the device will look quite similar to the Galaxy S10+. Samsung will blur the lines between the two devices, and place unnecessary confusion in the mind of its customers.
To that end, it’s also rumored that Samsung will launch two variants of Galaxy Note 10 this year, and both these variants will have separate options with 5G support. This, in turn, will bring the number of different Note 10s launched by Samsung this year to four. Interesting times to live in.
