Persona 5, Metroid Prime Trilogy Nintendo Switch Best Buy Listings Have Been Removed

Persona 5

Yesterday, the Best Buy website started listing three unannounced Nintendo Switch games – Persona 5, Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. As the retailer correctly leaked new titles in the past, this has got fans excited, but it would be better for them to keep their expectations in check, as all three listings have now been removed.

As explained by Twitter user Wario64, the three listings have been pulled from their internal systems, but they still exist in some form.

Best Buy has pulled the Persona 5 Switch, Metroid Prime Trilogy Switch, and Link to the Past Switch listings from their internal systems as of this morning

Just to clarify on the Best Buy thing, the Switch listings are still there in its RSS, but not on their CoreBlue system. Basically, the listings are still there in one form

It being deleted or not means nothing anyway until they’re officially announced

Another Twitter user who used to work at Best Buy also added that there’s still a good chance these games are indeed coming.

Since Persona 5, Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past have yet to be confirmed for Nintendo Switch, we must take everything that comes in on them with a grain of salt until we get official confirmation. We will keep you updated on them as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
