Octopath Traveler is one of the best Nintendo Switch exclusive games ever released, and it seems like PC players will also be able to enjoy this JRPG in the near future.
Earlier today, it’s been discovered that Octopath Traveler has been rated for PC in Korea. The PC version is listed with Bandai Namco as the publisher.
Octopath Traveler has been developed by Acquire, the same team that created the Bravely series. As such, the game comes with some of the features introduced by Bravely Default, such as the Job system, the ability to increase stats through boosting in battle and so on. The story isn’t among the best features of the game, but those who love delving deep into JRPG mechanics will find something to like in the game.
Ultimately, how much you will enjoy Octopath Traveler depends on what kind of JRPG player you are. Are you here for the story and characters, or are you the kind of gamer that loves maxing out stats and dealing massive damage? If it’s the latter, the game is perfect for you. If it’s the former? Well, sadly, you might get tired of it, but it’s still a fun JRPG that can last you for hours.
