Devil May Cry 5 received a new update earlier this month introducing the Bloody Palace mode. Evidence of more content has been discovered in the game’s files, but it seems like nothing else will be coming to the game.
Devil May Cry 5 producer Matt Walker recently reiterated that development of the game has ended, and no more content is coming in the foreseable future. He also added that he would love to see the ladies playable, but that the team would need to convince the people up top that it’s worth doing.
Unfortunately we don't plan on adding any more content to DMC5. In terms of RE, I sure hope there are more titles in the works cause RE2 was a huge success. ^^

Unfortunately dev on DMC5 is finished. I'd personally like to see the ladies playable too. We can only hope that at some point we can convince the people up top that it's worth doing.

It’s a shame that Devil May Cry 5 will not be expanded in the near future, as the game is not only among the best entries in the series, but also one of the best character action games ever released.
Devil May Cry 5 is the best entry in the series and one of the best character action games ever released. In addition to its excellent combat mechanics and level design, which expand greatly on the elements introduced in past games, the story and characters had never before received such focus in Devil May Cry. The game may be lacking in extra content such as the fan-favorite Bloody Palace mode at launch, but don’t let this small flaw prevent you from getting what will surely be one of the 2019 Game of the Year contenders.
Devil May Cry 5 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
