Cyberpunk 2077 won’t include a ‘Game Over’ screen which allows players to get away with some pretty dumb stuff.
As covered recently, CD Projekt Red’s upcoming action-RPG will feature quests that are more complex than those in the Witcher 3, but if Cyberpunk 2077 Quest Designer Philipp Weber is to believed, players won’t be forced to successfully complete these quests in order to be somewhat successful in the game. In a recent interview with German gaming site Gamestar, the Quest Designer suggested that players won’t see a game over screen unless your character dies. According to Weber, the game will keep going, no matter how badly you fulfill your objective.
Of course, it will be satisfactory to successfully complete your mission, but from the looks of it, it won’t be mandatory in order to beat the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 has yet to receive a release date, and as covered last week, the title might be a cross-gen game.
