Today, Apple has seen fit to release the third developer beta of its upcoming macOS 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1 and tvOS 12.3 to developers. The new beta builds arrive two weeks after the company seeded the second beta. You can download the third beta from the Apple Developer Center right now. Let’s dive in to see some more details on the matter and whether the new builds have anything new in store.
macOS 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1 and tvOS 12.3 Third Beta Released To Developers
Starting off with macOS, the third beta of macOS 10.14.5 can be downloaded through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences. However, be sure to note that an appropriate configuration profile is installed which can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center.
watchOS 5.2.1 can be installed on your Apple Watch through the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Simply head over to General Tab and then select Software Update. Again, do make sure that a proper configuration profile has been installed from the Apple Developer Center if you want to avoid running into potential errors and issues.
Lastly, tvOS 12.3 beta 3 can be downloaded on your fourth and fifth generation Apple TV via a profile that is installed using Xcode on Mac. Other than this, there is also a second beta software update available for the third-generation Apple TV.
At this point in time, we are not sure what the new beta builds have in store for users. However, we can be certain that the updates would carry the necessary bug fixes and performance enhancements which were not addressed in the previous beta build.
