Samsung Galaxy S10e and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 forums are now open

So far, 2019 has been pretty exciting for smartphone innovation. We’ve witnessed some really polarizing trends including Nokia 9 PureView’s penta-cameras, Samsung Galaxy S10‘s gorgeous display with subtle punch-holes, and folding phones like Samsung Galaxy Fold. At the same time, smartphone gaming is also getting refined and devices like Xiaomi’s latest Black Shark 2 beefed with chunkier RAMs. This is why we’re now opening up XDA Forums for two key devices launched recently – the Samsung Galaxy 10e and the Black Shark 2.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e seems like a practical choice from among the Samsung Galaxy S10 trio. It omits the extra camera on the front, the in-display fingerprint scanner, and the rear telephoto lens from the Galaxy S10 and S10+ but makes up for this lack of feature with its attractive pricing. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage along with the dependability of a Samsung flagship make it an attractive choice if settling for less than a premium device is not a problem.

Black Shark 2

Xiaomi’s Black Shark 2 is a no-compromise device in most senses. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM, the latest Snapdragon 855, and a pressure-sensitive display for interactive gaming. This hardware beast also supports attachable controllers like the Nintendo Switch and its excellent hardware offers great potential for software development. Xiaomi’s Black Shark division has set up an HQ in India, hinting that the new gaming smartphone may launch in India soon.
