Last week saw the release of a new Apex Legends update, and, of course, dataminers immediately dove in and discovered some rather juicy secrets. Perhaps most interestingly, RealApexLeaks on Twitter has discovered that NPCs may be coming to the game. It seems like these NPCs will be fully capable of joining the battle, with the ability to attack, scale walls, perform executions, and join a fireteam. Some of them even seem have specific names like Flyer and Spyder.
LEAK: More info on the Previously leaked NPCs. I’ll just tweet the pictures in parts. You can add comments if you want me to explain.

How exactly these NPCs will be used remains somewhat of a question mark, but perhaps those who want to play solo will be able to use them to fill out their team. There’s also the possibility they may be used to introduce a PvE element to Apex Legends. However the NPCs are used, they’re sure to be a useful tool as Respawn continues to expand the game.
In other exciting news, the folks at Gaming Intel have discovered that wall running is likely coming to Apex Legends. This would apparently include both vertical and horizontal wall running. The ability to dash along walls was, of course, a major part of the Titanfall games, so it would definitely be a welcome addition to Apex Legends. Now all they need to do is add Titans!
Other interesting tidbits uncovered by Apex Legends dataminers include a possible day/night cycle, and some new weapons, including remote turrets and a flamethrower. Of course, none of this has been confirmed by Respawn yet, so take this all with a grain of salt, but these type of datamined leaks usually end paying off, eventually.
Apex Legends is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The game’s first battle pass is rumored to be launching tomorrow, but Respawn has yet to make it official.
