On February 20th, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Mi 9, Mi 9 Transparent Edition, and Mi 9 SE. The Mi 9 launched in China already with Android Pie-based MIUI 10 and at the event, Xiaomi announced software features like a dynamic wallpaper, Sunlight Mode 2.0, Reading Mode 2.0, Game Turbo, Dark Mode, and more. While it’s up to Xiaomi to decide whether or not those features will be ported to older devices, we’ve gone ahead and extracted the Mi 9’s firmware to bring you its stock wallpapers. Xiaomi typically releases these wallpapers on their Mi forums, but since they haven’t done that yet you can grab them here.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Wallpapers
There are 18 total wallpapers, each at a resolution of 1080×2340. The wallpapers are designed with the Mi 9’s display in mind, which is a 19.5:9 FHD+ display. There are plenty of devices with a similar display resolution and aspect ratio, though, so I’m sure some of you might find these images useful. Here’s a low-resolution gallery to give you a preview of all the wallpapers. We recommend you visit the AndroidFileHost link below to download the wallpapers in their original resolution, though.

Keep an eye out on our forums for the Mi 9. Xiaomi released the kernel source code for the device on day one, proving they’re serious about being more open this year. Once the device launches internationally, we hope to see development pick up on the device.
Based on our initial impressions and the first camera reviews, the Mi 9 seems like it’ll be a great device. We can’t wait to do a full review of Xiaomi’s latest flagship, so stay tuned for more coverage.
