Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro has lived up to its standard since the company launched it a few months ago. They brought it to India a month later, but many were let down when it was announced the phone would not make it to the United States. The phone’s performance has been top notch and there are a number of software features that make it stand out from the competition. Now that its initial hype has begun to settle, we have learned that the device will soon be sold in two new colors: Fragrant Red and Comet Blue.
Releasing smartphones with a high-profit market in newer colors is standard in the Android community. When a company releases a new device that brings it a lot of attention because of all the websites that are publishing articles about it. From hands-on content to simple announcements with details like release date, pricing, specs, and more. But after a few months, the hype begins to die down as there is always a newer Android device that is going to be released right around the corner.
So to bring the attention back to the company’s latest and (usually) greatest, they will release the phone in a new color. There are still a lot of people talking about the performance and features of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but the headlines have slowed down and now there are two new colors coming out for it. We can see that they are already listed on JD.com (a popular online retailer in China) with the two new colors being Fragrant Red and Comet Blue. The new colors have only been announced today, but we have been told that they will be put on sale starting on January 10th.
Pricing looks to be the same as launch with JD.com’s Fragrant Red model listing showing 6,799 Yuan (which is about $993).
