We’ll show you how you can move multiple app icons from one home screen to the other on iPhone or iPad in a snap.
Before iOS 12 came along, moving app icons from one home screen to the other was an extremely painful task. You have to select each app and move it individually to the other screen. In fact, this task is so painful, it’s almost like playing PUBG using a console controller.
Today, we’re going to make things extremely easy for you, allowing you to move multiple app icons from point A to point B at once. You don’t have to do this for every single app. Just bundle them all in one place, and drop them on the home screen of your choice. Pick up your iPhone or iPad, and let’s learn how to move those pesky app icons around.
First of all, select any app icon by tapping and holding it down with your finger. Let go when the icons on the home screen start to jiggle. Now use your finger to hold down one app so that you can move it around. Want to move the second app too? Use another finger to tap on it and it will bundle up with the first one. Check out the GIF below to see how it works.
Don’t mind the glare, it’s just chilling there.
So, now that you’ve mastered the art of moving those pesky icons around in a bunch, it’ll be great if you share the love with your friends as well. After all, we’re certain that they’ve found themselves in a situation where they wanted to get this task done, but didn’t know how to go about it in a far more efficient manner.
We’ll be back with more useful tips in the time to come so make sure you’re tuned in to our coverage.
