Here is How Android's Find My Device Network Could End Up Looking Like

Android will be launching its Find My Device network hopefully soon. The network, as the name suggests, will allow you to locate your devices with ease. We recently heard about how Google has delayed the rollout of the network so Apple can implement the changes that are required. Once the network is ready, a proper rollout will be initiated.

The Find My Device network on Android is looking very promising and could help a lot of people find their devices with ease

So far, we don't know how Android is going to have the Find My Device network implemented, but that changes today as we now have a first look at how the entire network could end up looking, including how the setup process will look, along with all the other options.

You can see in the image above that Android's Find My Device network menu shows you all the basic steps to set up the network. The menu gives you all the information required, and you simply have to follow the steps to make sure that it is enabled. I am glad that Google has made it this simple, but it would be safe to assume that once other OEMs implement the same network, they might make some changes to the UI, but the overall functionality of this will not be changed because this happens to be a core functionality.

In the screenshots, you can see what the Find My Device network looks like on a Pixel phone. Again, as mentioned before, this could change. The options you see above are just some options that you can change. I am actually really impressed to see that Google is dedicating time and proper resources to making sure that this feature works and it works as intended.

Again, the Find My Device network has not rolled out, and it will take some time before the rollout starts and reaches every single device, but looking at early images, I am really hopeful that it will be a success and will allow people to locate their devices with a lot more ease.
