Apple releases iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, tvOS 17, and macOS Sonoma Beta 4 to developers

Apple announced iOS 17 at its WWDC event in June and the update will bring a plethora of major features for the iPhone later this year. Currently, iOS 17 rests in the beta phase and today, Apple has decided to release iOS 17 beta 4 to developers for testing. If you are a developer, you can download and install the latest build right now on your iPhone. The company has also released iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS Sonoma, and tvOS 17 beta 4 to developers which you can install on your compatible devices.

iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 can be installed on your iPhone and iPad over the air through the Settings app. All you have to do is head over to General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install iOS 17 beta 4 on your iPhone or iPad. Once the update is downloaded, follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest update. Make sure that your Apple ID is linked to your developer account to receive the latest beta updates. iOS 17 is a major update considering the number of features it brings to the table. Besides iOS 17, Apple has also released beta 4 of watchOS 10 to developers for testing purposes. If you want to install the latest beta, simply head over to the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Once you do that, head to General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install watchOS 10 beta 4 on your Apple Watch. To install the latest beta, ensure your Apple Watch has over 50 percent of battery life and is plugged into a power source. watchOS 10 is a major update as well as it brings an all-new Home screen layout for the Apple Watch that makes it easier to navigate. Apple has also seeded macOS Sonoma beta 4 to developers alongside iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. If you wish to install the latest beta, you should first download the proper configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center. Once the profile is installed, the latest beta can be installed through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings. Lastly, tvOS 17 beta 4 is also released to developers for testing.
