AMD's upcoming budget AM4 CPUs which include the Ryzen 7 5700 and Ryzen 3 5100 have been confirmed by Gigabyte.
AMD Ryzen 7 5700 & Ryzen 3 5100 Cezanne CPUs Minus The Graphics Have Been Confirmed
More than a year ago, we pointed out that AMD was preparing a range of new AM4 Desktop CPUs which would feature Vermeer, Cezanne, and Renoir SKUs. Now, Gigabyte has finally confirmed that these CPUs do exist and that we can expect them soon. There are two chips that are new to the list and these include the Ryzen 7 5700 and Ryzen 3 5100. Both CPUs are based on the Ceaznne die & use a monolithic design compared to the chiplet design seen on the Vermeer chips.
Starting with the AMD Ryzen 7 5700, we are looking at an 8-core and 16-thread chip featuring the Zen 3-core architecture on a 7nm process node. The chip features a base clock of 3.7 GHz & boost clocks of up to 4.6 GHz. There's 4 MB of L2 and 16 MB of L3 cache and the chip is packaged in a 65 Watt TDP without any iGPU. The Ryzen 5700G/GE comes with Vega iGPU but the Non-G CPU lacks such graphics support.
The second chip within the lineup is the AMD Ryzen 3 5100 which is supposed to be an entry-level AM4 Desktop CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads. This chip features a base clock of 3.8 GHz and boost clocks of 4.2 GHz. The CPU packs 2 MB of L2 and 8 MB of L3 cache with a rated TDP of 65W. Once again, the iGPU portion has been disabled for this chip.
AMD seems to be targetting its AM4 audience with more budget options with the Ryzen 5 5600X3D CPU hitting retail shelves this month and the emergence of these two Cezanne chips once again. A Non-iGPU Ryzen 7000 CPU has also shown up which opens up the possibility of future budget CPU SKUs for the AM5 platform.

There's a lot that AMD hasn't revealed yet but we hope that low-end & budget gamers get some decent hardware since AMD has mostly focused on its high-end side on AM5 with $200 US+ SKUs while Intel dominates the sub $200 US segment.
