The Last of Us Part I PC has been delayed a few weeks and will now release after the final episode of the HBO TV series, Naughty Dog has announced.
The developer announced the news through Twitter some hours ago. The PC version of the remake was first slated for a release on March 3 (just before the 8th episode of the TV show), but will now release on March 28 - two weeks after the HBO series finale. According to Naughty Dog, these additional weeks will allow the team to further polish the game.
"Let's get right to it: we initially announced The Last of Us Part 1 PC release would be March 3, but we've decided to push its launch date out by just a few weeks; it will now be released on March 28", the statement from Naughty Dog reads.
The Last of Us Part I is available globally now for PlayStation 5. As said, the PC version will now release worldwide on March 28, 2023.
