Apple files for Bluetooth 5.3 standard amidst rumors of a 15-inch M2 MacBook Air and Mac Pro
It was previously reported that Apple will launch the new 15-inch MacBook Air in early April at its Spring event. Additionally, the company is also planning to launch an upgraded Mac Pro in the first half of this year. The rumored 15-inch MacBook Air will potentially feature the new M2 chip while rocking the same design as the 13.6-inch variant. The Mac Pro is also expected to feature the same design as the 2019 model but powered by Apple's M2 Ultra chip.
If we connect the dots, the 15-inch MacBook Air and Mac Pro could launch as soon as April. Since Apple announced the new M2 MacBook Air at the WWDC event in June, it is possible that the company could potentially announce the machines at this year's WWDC. As for the latest listing, Bluetooth 5.3 will offer enhanced connectivity and improved reliability while being less power-hungry, according to Bluetooth SIG.
