Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been out for some time now and has seen various updates to fix issues or add new content. The Assassin’s Creed franchise will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and a brand-new update will come to Valhalla to mark the occasion. This free content update will be available to all players. So, without further ado, let’s break it down.
First and foremost, the game will see the addition of the Rune Forge. This tool will be available to players when they upgrade their settlement to Level 4 and can turn perks of currently owned gear into brand-new runes. This, however, will cost some silver, one of the game’s currencies, so you’ll have to stock up if you want to use this feature a lot.
The Tombs of the Fallen also see their conclusion in this update. Players are tasked with finding their way through three tombs loaded with various traps and complex puzzles. These tombs are scattered throughout England and are available to access once players unlock Ravensthorpe (their settlement).
Later, on October 20th, a new event will come to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla; the Osokeria Festival. This event will run until November 10th, 2022, and players can defend their settlements in Wild Hunts. The Festival will also have various other activities, quests, and rewards when it releases.
Closer to the end of 2022, Valhalla will see The Last Chapter update. More details on that will be revealed at a later date, though. As for now, you can visit the Assassin’s Creed 15th anniversary website to see a unique art exhibition, which collects art from various artists around the world to have on full display. You can view that website here.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently out now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna, and PC via Ubisoft Connect.
