Today we will show you how you can downgrade iOS 14.4.1 and iPadOS 14.4.1 to iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 on iPhone and iPad, respectively.
Apple is Currently Signing iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4, You Can Downgrade iOS 14.4.1 and iPadOS 14.4.1 While there is Still Time
Apple has released an important update for iPhone and iPad users in the form of iOS 14.4.1 and iPadOS 14.4.1. It is a security update, which means everyone should go ahead and install it. However, if you wish to stick with iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 for any reason at all, especially if you think a potential jailbreak may arrive for this software version, then you should downgrade back from iOS 14.4.1 and iPadOS 14.4.1. Strong emphasis on should as Apple is still signing the firmware as we speak.
The process is actually quite straightforward and is extremely similar to performing a clean installation of iOS and iPadOS onto your device. However, this also means that you will lose all your data and settings unless you take a backup using iCloud, iTunes or Finder.
Once that is done, download the iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 firmware file that is meant for your device. Make sure you download the correct one and have it saved on your desktop for easy access later on.
