iOS 13, iOS 13.1, iOS 13.2 Release Time-Frame Outlined in Leaked Apple Document, Other Software Updates Also Detailed

iOS 13.2

This is an absolutely hot one. A leaked Apple “Software Development Resource” document outlines everything you want to hear.

At this point in time, it’s fairly obvious that Apple is going to release iOS 13 GM next week alongside new iPhones. But what about the final release? And what about iOS 13.1? Well, according to an allegedly leaked internal document from Apple (via AppleBeta2019), we have received wind of a lot of things, including iOS 13.2.

Honestly, things might get a little shady when you start reading the document in detail. We’ll decipher as much as we can in easy to understand words and lay them out flat in a list:

  • iOS 13 GM will be released next week
  • iOS 13 final version will be released on September 23rd
  • iOS 13.1 will ship with the new iPhones in October
  • iOS 13.0.1 will be released right after the new iPhones ship (which contradicts what is written above)
  • iOS 13.2 beta will be released in November alongside other software updates
  • iPadOS 13 will obviously be released alongside iOS 13

The document goes on to further detail Apple’s software updates which you can check out yourself here. It even goes on to state that macOS Catalina will be released for everyone after iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 has been seeded to everyone. So yes, you can expect it to arrive a week later at best.

Now, as exciting this stuff may sound, I’ll kill the flame by saying that you should take this news with a grain of salt. We’re just a few days away from the Apple event where the company will show the world its next-generation iPhones, and on that very day we will start getting details regarding the software release cycle.

It’s clear that iOS 13.1 will re-add the features which Apple removed in the latest iOS 13 beta. But what will iOS 13.2 bring to the table? Hopefully, further improvements to stability of the overall system.

We’re extremely excited at this point in time and can’t wait to take everything for a spin. Whether it’s iOS 13, iOS 13.2, iPad, watchOS 6, tvOS 13 or macOS Catalina, this is the time of year everyone is going to geek out, especially if you live on the Apple side of the fence.
