AMD’s Ryzen 3000 series pre-binned processors went on sale last month at Silicon Lottery and the retailer has now shared binning statistics for a range of 3rd Gen SKUs. In addition to that, Caseking has also added more pre-binned Ryzen CPUs in their stock for consumers to purchase.
Silicon Lottery Reveals That Top 6% AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPUs can Hit 4.2 GHz, Top 20% Ryzen 7 3800X Can Hit 4.3 GHz
Over at Silicon Lottery, their entire portfolio of pre-binned Ryzen 3000 series processors has been sold out. However, the retailer shared some interesting pre-binning statistics which show that AMD has squeezed every last drop of frequency themselves, leaving users with little overclocking head-room to exploit. All pre-binned processors were qualified based on their AVX2 frequency which is the max stable frequency for AVX2 workloads.
Starting with the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, the fastest 12 core and 24 thread chip, Silicon Lottery reveal that only the top 6% samples were able to hit 4.20 GHz (1.25V), top 35% were able to hit 4.15 GHz (1.237V), top 68% were able to hit 4.10 GHz (1.225V), top 87% were able to hit 4.05 GHz (1.212V) & all Ryzen 9 3900X processors are able to hit 4.0 GHz (1.20V).
The AMD Ryzen 7 3800X which is the fastest 8 core and 16 thread chip is able to hit 4.30 GHz (1.30V) on the top 20% samples, top 53% were able to hit 4.25 GHz (1.287V) while all samples overclocked to 4.20 GHz (1.275V). Lastly, the Ryzen 7 3700X was tested and top 21% samples overclocked to 4.15 GHz (1.26V), top 74% samples hit 4.10 GHz (1.250V) while all samples can overclock to 4.05 GHz (1.237V).

Caseking is selling even higher binned SKUs, starting with their 4.30 GHz and 4.25 GHz Ryzen 9 3900X processors. The Ryzen 7 3700X is also available in 4.30 GHz, 4.25 GHz and 4.20 GHz SKUs and the same binning is available with the Ryzen 5 3600. Caseking only has two models available right now which include the 449.00€ Ryzen 7 3700X (4.30 GHz) and the 429.00€ Ryzen 7 3700X (4.25 GHz).
The voltages have not been defined but it should be under 1.4V which is the safe limit for Ryzen 3000 processors. All CPUs have been internally pre-tested and qualified by renowned overclocked Der8auerand come with a 2 year King mod warranty.
