Persona 5 Royal New Footage Shows Combination Attacks, New Location

Persona 5 Royal

New gameplay footage has been released today for Persona 5 Royal, the new enhanced version of the role-playing game originally released on PS3 and PlayStation 4 two years ago.

The new gameplay footage has come through the latest Morgana Report video and it showcases some of the additions included in the Royal release, such as new Baton Touch ranks, new Combination Attacks, the new location Kichijoji, new activities, a new Persona and much more.

In the past few days, several Persona 5 Royal trailers have been released online, showcasing Ann, Ryuji, Yusuke, Justine and Caroline and more.

Even without the added content, Persona 5 is an excellent JRPG more than worthy of your time.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to metaphorically unwrap a new Persona title and I can confidently say that it was worth the wait. There’s something special about the stylish role-playing game series that no other RPG maker can come close to emulating (although Mind-Zero certainly tried). While the battles take a backseat to the story in Persona 5, it’s that daring tale of phantom thieves that keeps drawing me back in. Now that I’ve finally ripped myself away from the PS4 long enough to pen the review, I can’t wait to put the mask back on and steal a few more hearts.

Persona 5 The Royal releases this year in Japan and next year in the West on PlayStation 4.
