Monster Hunter World continues selling extremely well. It just broke another record, as revealed today by CAPCOM, breaking the threshold of 13 million shipped units across all platforms and further sealing its spot as the best-selling game ever made by the Japanese game developer/publisher.
Players are getting a free pack of special items for the occasion, too, as an extra reason to celebrate.

With the Iceborne expansion coming soon (September 6th) to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and later this Fall on PC, the figure is bound to increase even further. It’s not too much of a stretch to imagine Monster Hunter World could reach fifteen million shipped units in the next few months.
In other Monster Hunter World news, the PC version received Update 6.1 yesterday as planned. The main addition of this new patch is NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), the feature that exploits the Tensor Cores included in all GeForce RTX graphics cards to increase performance (according to NVIDIA, the average frame rates per second at 4K resolution improve by over 50%).
