Final Fantasy VII Remake Xbox One Release Mentioned On Xbox Germany Facebook Page

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake, or rather, the first part of the remake, is getting released next year on PlayStation 4. It’s been made clear that the game will not be a PlayStation exclusive and that it will eventually be released on other platforms, and today it’s been pretty much confirmed that it will reach Xbox One at some point.

The Official Xbox German page recently shared, as discovered by ResetERA forums member Neat, that the remake of the classic JRPG will be released on Xbox One on March 3rd, 2020. The post has since been removed.

March 3rd, 2020 is the day the game launches on PlayStation 4, so it’s likely a mistake. Still, it’s almost a given at this point that the Square Enix RPG will also be released on Xbox One once the timed PS4 exclusivity ends.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is setting out to be the remake the now classic RPG deserves. The E3 2019 demo left us impressed with it, and I personally cannot wait to see more.

The E3 2019 demo was short, but it made one thing clear: Square Enix is not pulling any punches with the Final Fantasy VII Remake, giving it their all to make the game the remake the original deserved. Everything works extremely well, from exploration to battle, so what remains to be seen is how the Midgar arc has been expanded for this episode. I was very skeptic before trying the demo, but now I am sure the Final Fantasy VII Remake will be among the best Final Fantasy games ever released, and a far cry from Final Fantasy XV, which I did like but always felt it could have been so much more.

Final Fantasy VII Remake launches on PlayStation 4 on March 3rd, 2020 in all regions.
