Recently, a low profile GeForce GTX 1650 has come up. The makers of this card are Zotac who are known to deliver some high quality, low profile cards. This card seems to be based on the Turing TU107 chip with a 128-bit wide memory interface. This allows the card to have a sub-75-watt TDP comparatively to the references design 75-watt TDP which is quite efficient. This is a dream card for all the micro ITX builders out there.
Super Efficient Design – Sub 75 Watt TDP
This card will make its first appearance at Computex 2019 in Tapei, Taiwan. This card will not require additional PCIe power connectors as it is not a power heavy card. Zotac clearly focused on making this an efficient card, so it could fit in a low profile build without causing any thermal throttling. Zotac has a lot of experience making low profile cards, so I would not doubt the quality of the card. Personally, I would recommend putting this in the Ghost S1 micro ITX case to make for a nice build.
This card offers DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort on the factory fitted two slots wide bezel. The card is very similar to a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and Zotac also did a low profile one for the GTX 1050 Ti. The GTX 1050 Ti has 77 percent of the performance on a regular GTX 1650 card. If you want a cheaper version than the GTX1650, you could go out get the low profile GTX 1050 Ti because it will be discounted as Pascal has been out for a long time. The cooler design is a dual fan design with an aluminum radiator. The fans are 40mm in diameter and this design is consistent with older low profile Zotac cards.
Pricing nor the release date have been released as this product will be displayed at Computex 2019. The pricing should be in the range of $170 as a regular GTX 1650 costs $170 and the low profile GTX 1050 Ti was $170 at release as well.
