Luigi’s Mansion 3 has been announced a while back for Nintendo Switch, but very little is currently known about the third entry in the series starring Mario’s brother. New info, however, may be coming very soon.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 has been recently rated in Korea, as reported by Gematsu. Ratings usually come shortly before some info blowouts, so it’s likely that we will hear more about the game soon. As Nintendo is attending E3 2019 as usual, it’s highly probable that even a release date will be announced during the event.
As already mentioned, very little is currently known about the game, other than the fact that it’s meant to be released this year. The only trailer released so far shows very little as well.
The previous entry in the series, Luigi’s Manion: Dark Moon, has been released back in 2013 on Nintendo 3DS.
The new Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon gives players multiple mansions to explore, a variety of puzzles to solve and new ghosts to capture. Armed with the Poltergust 5000, a ghost-sucking, vacuum-like invention, Luigi must complete a number of missions assigned to him by Professor E. Gadd.
Features:
Shining a light on the ghosts is no longer enough to stun them into immobility. Players need to activate a new strobe function to stun the ghosts before sucking them up with the Poltergust 5000.
Every mansion is filled with unique puzzle elements and ghosts. Players must figure out how to defeat each one of them and find hidden clues and keys to unlock new areas.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is currently in development for Nintendo Switch.
