Apple Quietly Selling the LG 23.7-inch UltraFine Display at Apple Stores

At this point in time, Apple is selling the 23.7-inch UltraFine Display through its retail store. if you’re up for it you can get it from the Apple Store right now. However, there’s no statement from the company regarding the display’s availability on the online store. What’s good is that the new 23.7-inch UltraFine display from LG is being sold at a $700 price tag, same as that of the 21.5-inch display.

What takes us by surprise is that there is no detail available on the new UltraFine display. As per the source, even employees at the Apple Store are not aware of the device’s availability despite being in stock. As per TidBITS, the new monitor features a resolution of 3360 x 1890 which does not qualify as 4K but the product manual suggests the resolution to be 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz and qualifies as 4K. The older 21.5-inch display featured a resolution of 4096 x 2304.

As for ports, there are two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the back along with 3x USB-C ports. Furthermore, the design, more or less, stays the same. The package also comes with a Thunderbolt 3 capable with the monitor, which is a neat addition.
