Reminders is a great way of keep track of a lot of things in life if you are an iPhone or iPad user. The interface is easy to understand and you can even set reminders that trigger as soon as you reach a certain place or leave it.
If you are all about keeping tabs on your reminders at all times then you want to set your iPhone or iPad in such a way that every single reminder is set to sync across your devices. And when we say all, we mean all of them. Every single one of them. By default, the older completed reminders go into oblivion, never to be followed up again. But you can change all this. Pick up your iPhone or iPad right now and follow through.
1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Scroll down a little and find the Reminders entry. Tap on it to open.
3. Now tap on Sync then tap on All Reminders.
From now on, whenever you complete a task or just leave it be, it will stay synced across your devices forever. No need to worry about losing track of anything from now on.
Personally, I follow up on old reminders a lot of times. For example, if there was something I bought and set up a reminder for it, I usually go back to the reminder once again at a later date to see when I took the trip to do it. I know, you might have a different use-case for it. But the thing is, if you need to keep your life super-organized then this is one way to do it.
There are third-party apps available to go about reminding yourself about the things you are going to do and they are usually great. But the way the stock app works is pure magic, especially if you have multiple devices at hand, like an iPad, iPhone or a Mac. Dare I say this, even if you have an iPod touch with you, even still you get this luxury, which is crazy good.
