Corsair added a new model to one of their best selling series, the Carbide Series with its new Carbide 175R RGB. The 175R RGB is an entry-level, mid-tower chassis that looks to be in between the Carbide 100R and Carbide 275R. The new enclosure has a good amount of premium features, including an RGB lighting, a faux brushed-metal finish, and tempered glass. All of these features make this case quite appealing at a price point of $60.
Premium Features On a Budget Case
The intake of the case are the spaces in the top and bottom of the front panel, which should allow for adequate cooling inside. The left panel is made from tempered glass with a dark tint. The rest of the panels are made from aluminum with a matte-black finish. The I/O Ports on the top are two USB 3.0 and a 3.5mm combo audio jack, along with power and reset button. Overall, this is a compact and discreet case fit for anybody to use.
There is a single 120mm fan with RGB lighting, while additional fans need to be purchased to fill the existing fan locations (up to six 120mm or four 140mm). It is very typical seeing cases that are budget not having fans because it will reduce the cost of the case if manufacturers do not include fans. I recommend using Noctua or Deepcool fans if you want the best performance possible and do not care about RGB lighting. The included fan is compatible with the RGB software from Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI. All you have to do to get it working is plug it into the 12V RGB header on the motherboard.
The dimensions of the case are 418mm x 210mm x 450mm. The cases weigh 6.1kg(13.45lbs), which is not that heavy for having tempered glass side paneling. Internally, the 175R RGB supports Mini-ITX, Micro ATX and ATX sized motherboards, GPUs up to 330mm and a maximum CPU cooler height of 160mm. For radiator placement, the case supports up to a 360mm radiator in front, 240mm up top, and 120mm at the back. Watercooling is rather expensive, so I would go with a case that has included fans and is slightly larger.

The case also offers a variety of storage compatibility. There is space for four 2.5 inches SSD/HDD on the back side of the motherboard tray and 3.5-inch drives share the power supply space. The case is currently available for $60 at Corsair or other retailers that carry Corsair products.
