Apple Pay is now officially rolling out to users in Hungary and Luxembourg as it was previously detailed. This means that users with an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac in the region can take advantage of the online mobile payment system from the Cupertino giant. Let’s dive in to see some more details on the matter.
Apple Pay Arrives In Hungary and Luxembourg
Apple Pay is supported by BGL BNP Paribas in Luxembourg but the BCEE State and Savings Bank have not yet brought support for the system. It’s yet to be seen if Apple is planning to add more banks. In Hungary, Apple Pay is supported by the OTP Bank.
Apple Pay is launched two weeks after the company rolled the service out in Iceland with two partners at launch. Do take note that the service is still rolling out to users in Hungary and Luxembourg. With that said, if you experience any hiccup during the setup process, it will be resolved later on. If you haven’t set up, head to the wallet app with your compatible card and add all the necessary details.
As we have previously mentioned, Apple Pay will work on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and even your Mac. As of now, Apple has not updated its Apple Pay support document to tout that the new countries have been added today. With the latest addition, the mobile payment service is now available in 40 countries, a massive number. In addition, more regions will be added soon.
There will be more to the story, so be sure to stay tuned in for more details on the matter. This is all for now, folks. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do you think Apple is on track with its online mobile payment service? Share your views with us in the comments section below.
