With a consistent number of leaks surrounding the OnePlus 7, it is safe to assume that we’ll be witnessing the launch of the flagship sooner rather than later. OnePlus has a habit of launching a couple of models in various memory configurations, but it appears that the company might strategize differently going forward. We earlier covered the leak detailing possibly a new name for the upcoming device titled OnePlus 7 Pro, and new info we’ve come across states that we might be treated to a total of three models.
OnePlus 7 Pro Might Feature Top-End Specifications and Perhaps a More Pleasing Design Than the Regular Version
Ishan Agarwal earlier leaked 0the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, and now he’s back stating that the OnePlus 7 might be launched in three variants. One of them will apparently be the regular OnePlus 7 version, followed by the OnePlus 7 Pro, and of course the 5G version that nearly all of us are waiting to take a gander at. While the OnePlus 7 will presumably be a beast in the hardware department, we can expect the OnePlus 7 Pro to get the most attention thanks to its ‘Pro’ status.
BTW, I have just got the model numbers of the OnePlus 7 Variants confirmed so here they are:
GM1901,03,05 -> OnePlus 7
GM1911,13,15,17 -> OnePlus 7 Pro
GM1920 -> OnePlus 7 Pro 5G
PS: Still not 100% Sure, maybe for development only.https://t.co/UnInwWs7FI#OnePlus7 #OnePlus7Pro pic.twitter.com/kYvjLyBkLC— Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) April 9, 2019
It is possible that OnePlus outfits this variant with top-end specifications, ranging from 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, coupled with perhaps a ceramic design. This version could be targeted to those who display an affinity for Android devices that can deliver the fastest possible performance for a 2019 flagship and look aesthetically appealing in doing so as well. Of course, we expect OnePlus to charge a premium for this version, but Ishan Agarwal has mentioned that he’s not 100 percent sure about this information, so it’s imperative to take these details with a pinch of salt.
As for the 5G version, the manufacturer stated that we should expect to see the device at the end of May this year, and it will be around $200-$300 more expensive than the OnePlus 6T. We’ll also be comparing the differences between all three models to provide you with the best purchasing decision depending on your budget, so stay tuned for more info.
