OnePlus 7 Pro Specs Leak Reveal a 4000mAh Battery, and a Shift to a QHD+ Resolution With 90Hz Display

OnePlus 7 Pro specs 90Hz display

The past couple of weeks has brought a flurry of leaks and rumors surrounding the OnePlus 7. Apparently, there are going to be a total of three models, including the OnePlus 7 Pro and the 5G model the company has been clamoring about for months. As for the OnePlus 7 Pro, you can expect it to offer the best-in-class specifications for an Android flagship, and the latest leak highlights how the device will bring differences in a lot of areas, such as the display, and other specifications.

More Details Surrounding the OnePlus 7 Pro Point Towards a USB 3.1 Interface and an Increase in Fast-Charging Output

The OnePlus 7 Pro specifications leak already has us excited. Previously, all of OnePlus’ handsets were shipped with FHD+ or FHD resolutions, and they used Optic AMOLED technology. Now, for the first time ever, OnePlus could incorporate a QHD+ resolution on its OnePlus 7 Pro, along with a 90Hz refresh rate. Regular smartphone displays feature a 60Hz refresh rate, while gaming smartphones like the Razer Phone sport a 120Hz screen, providing ultra-smooth animations.

With the 90Hz refresh rate, users should be able to appreciate and enjoy those fluid animations without being expected to pay a hefty sum for the handset. However, the increase in refresh rate will have an adverse effect on the battery. Fortunately, the battery capacity has been leaked to be a 4000mAh cell, along with 30W Warp Charge support. This should top up the battery in little to no time, allowing you to obtain more screen time on your OnePlus 7 Pro in between and after charges.

Sadly, the OnePlus 7 Pro is not going to support Qi wireless charging, but when the technology has matured to a point where it will top up devices at the same rate of wired chargers, the company might start believing in its potential. Other specifications of the OnePlus 7 Pro includes the USB 3.1 interface, which should increase data transfer speeds, along with a triple camera setup at the back. According to the leak, the triple shooter will include on RGB sensor, one wide-angle lens, and one telephoto lens, giving us the same setup as Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus’ rear camera.

All of these details make the OnePlus 7 Pro appear very impressive on paper, so let us keep our fingers crossed and hope the actual retail unit will live up to the hype.
