Google Pixel 3a & Pixel 3a XL Alleged Official Renders Show Last-Gen Design and Single Front-Facing Camera

Google Pixel 3a XL alleged official renders

A first look at Google’s less expensive Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL is what nearly all of you would have liked to see, considering a previous report stated that both devices produce image quality similar to that of the Pixel 3. Google’s plan to launch affordable devices to tap into price-sensitive markets is an intelligent move, considering that the company want to make its brand name synonymous to a quality product and which runs the cleanest version of Android. These alleged official renders will give you an excellent idea of what to expect in the near future.

Google Pixel 3a & Pixel 3a XL Look Generic in Terms of Design, With Prominent Bezels Present on the Top and Bottom

The renders and the information that come with them were published first on Android Headlines, who claim that these images were made based on current info. In terms of design, it doesn’t look like Google went into too much thought as there are extensive bezels at the top and bottom, and yes, the headphone jack has made a comeback to these handsets. With the markets that Google intends on tapping, there are lots of customers that still prefer wired earphones over a wireless solution.

What is also interesting to note is that the wallpaper mentions the date as May 7, which hasn’t arrived yet, but it can provide a bit of foreshadowing. It could very well be the launch date of both these devices, but we’ll update you in the future if there are any changes introduced. Let us now talking about the hardware specifications. Both the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are reported to feature OLED screens, with both phones expected to house a Snapdragon 670 coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage.

Other leaks suggest a Snapdragon 710 for the Pixel 3a XL, but we feel that Google will want to keep things consistent between the two phones just like the company made things uniform with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL when it comes to internal specs, save for the battery. Both devices are expected to house a single 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. The primary camera is said to produce the same image results as the Pixel 3, but we’ll soon find out if these claims are true or not.

May is just around the corner, and with Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL leaks coming forth more consistently, it’s almost a surety that they’ll be arriving soon.
