Apple Releases Beta 4 of iOS 12.3, macOS 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1 and tvOS 12.3 to Developers

Today, Apple has seen fit to release the fourth developer beta of iOS 12.3, macOS 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1 and tvOS 12.3. The new beta builds arrive one week after the third developer beta. if you’re a developer, you can download and install the latest beta build right now from the Apple Developer Center. Let’s dive in to see more details on beta 4 of iOS 12.3, macOS 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1 and tvOS 12.3 and what do they have in store for users.

If you’re a registered developer, you can download iOS 12.3 from the Apple Developer Center or via over-the-air. Be sure to note that a proper configuration profile is required from the Developer Center. beta 4 of iOS 12.3 includes a new version of Apple’s TV app with a fresh look and enhanced functionality.

macOS 10.14.5 beta 4 can be installed on your supported Macs via the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences. Be sure to install a proper configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center. At this point, it’s not clear whether Apple has added extended functionality in the beta build, but we will leave that to developers.

Beta 5

Apple has also released beta 4 of watchOS 5.2.1 to developers which can be downloaded on your Apple Watch through the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Simply navigate to General > Software Update and you’re good to go. Note that an appropriate profile is required from the Developer Center. As of now, no forward-facing additions are seen, but we will let you guys know as soon as developers are done tinkering with the build.

tvOS 12.3 beta 4 is available for the fourth and fifth generation of the Apple TV and can be installed via a profile that is installed using Xcode on Mac. A new 7.3 beta software is also available for the third generation of Apple TV. Similar to iOS 12.3 and other beta builds, it’s not clear whether Apple has added anything new to the table, but we will let you guys know.
