Samsung Galaxy A20 with 6.4″ Infinity-V display and Exynos 7884 launched in Russia

While we were busy looking at the leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A40, Samsung has gone ahead and released the Samsung Galaxy A20 in Russia. The Galaxy A20 joins in the crowded Samsung device portfolio consisting of the Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30 as well as the Samsung Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 sits in the budget and early mid-range segment of the smartphone market, and the specifications are tailored accordingly. The phone comes with Samsung’s 3D Glasstic design which employs a polycarbonate shell for the device. Unlike the Galaxy A10, the Galaxy A20 does come with a conventional fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. Samsung has not specified whether the phone comes with a microUSB port like the A10 or a USB Type-C port like the A30 and beyond, so this specification remains unknown for now. Its siblings do come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, so we presume the same to remain present on the Galaxy A20 as well.

The Galaxy A20 has been launched in Russia for now, for a price of RUB 13,990 (~$217). It is currently unknown when this device will be available in other regions and at what price, though it would not be wrong to guess that it will be made available in all key regions of Europe and Asia at least.

Samsung has also launched the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 in Russia for a price of RUB 15,990 (~$249) and RUB 19,990 (~$311) respectively.
