Motorola Moto G7 goes on sale in the US with support for Google Fi, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T

Motorola announced a slew of devices in the Moto G7 family early last month. We haven’t heard much on the availability of these devices since then, but today the Moto G7 is launching in the US. As a “Designed for Fi” phone, it can utilize full Google Fi functionality, but it also works on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

The Moto G7 features a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 632 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The device has a 3,000mAh battery and USB Type-C for charging. There are dual cameras on the back: 12MP main lens and 5MP depth sensor. The front camera is 8MP. The Moto G7 is not an Android One device but it does run a clean version of Android Pie. It even has Google’s Digital Wellbeing suite, which is not the case on every Android Pie device.

Google Fi already had the Moto G6 and Android One Moto X4, so it’s no surprise to see the Moto G7 on Google’s MVNO. If you’re looking for devices with near stock Android, decent specs, and affordable prices, at least here in the US, these Moto phones are great choices. The Mogo G7 is no exception. You can pick up the Moto G7 for $249 from Google Fi or $299 unlocked from Motorola’s website. Both places offer the phone in Ceramic Black and Clear White colors.

As mentioned, this is a “Designed for Fi” device, which means it can automatically switch between Fi’s combined networks and use features like the “Enhanced Network.” To use the Moto G7 on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint, you can buy it unlocked from Motorola.
