Polyphony Digital has released GT Sport Patch 1.36 which adds the new Super Formula Championship event and two Super Formula cars alongside Classic Italian Supercars.
Earlier this week we covered the Gran Turismo Sport’s upcoming free update, and this update is now available for PlayStation 4 owners. Like previous updates, the 1.36 patch adds five new cars to the game, including the Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto CN.2521 ’61, Lancia Stratos ’73 and Super Formula race cars by Honda and Toyota.
In order to make best use of the new Super Formula Cars, Polyphony has added the all-new New Super Formula Championship (amateur league) Event – “a one make race event using the Dallara SF19”, the official PlayStation Blog reads.
In addition, new rounds have been added to several existing league events:
Beginner League
2 new rounds added to the FF Challenge
2 new rounds added to the MINI Challenge
Amateur League
2 new rounds added to the Nostalgic Car Festival
Professional League
2 new rounds added to the La Festa Cavallino
2 new rounds added to the Lamborghini Cup
Endurance League
1 new round added to the Gr.1 Prototype Endurance Series
Last but not least, the new update adds “Cherry Blossoms – Heralds of Spring” to the specially featured section in Scapes Mode. In the Museum, Super Formula has been added, and in Circuit Experience – the Autopolis circuit from the 1.34 update.
GT Sport is available now for PS4.
