Google Duplex is now available for all Pixel phones in 43 U.S. states

Google Duplex was one of the most exciting things announced at Google I/O last year. It caught a lot of headlines for being “magical” and extremely cool. Not to be confused with Call Screening, Duplex can do things like call a barber and make a haircut appointment. It began rolling out to Google Pixel owners late last year and now it’s available in 43 US states.

Google says the feedback they received up until this point has helped them bring the feature to more people. It is now available on the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, and Pixel 3 XL in the US states listed below. All you have to do is ask Google Assistant to perform a task, such as “Book a table for four people at [restaurant} tomorrow night.” Google will either call the business on your behalf or make a reservation with an online booking service. You get notified when the task has been completed.
