Most games try to keep their late-game content mostly under wraps prior to launch, but Ubisoft is being surprisingly open about Tom Clancy’s The Division 2’s endgame. Case in point, they’ve just released a new The Division 2 endgame trailer, which provides an introduction to the Black Tusk, the intimidating new faction that joins the game after you finish the main story. We also get a peek at some of the endgame specializations, including the Survivalist, Demolitionist, and Sharpshooter. Check it all out, below.
Here’s a quick rundown of The Division 2’s endgame features:
Specializations
Upon reaching level 30, Division Agents will be able to activate one of several specializations. Each one unlocks a unique signature weapon and additional skills that offer new ways to play.
- Survivalist: Desperate times ask for desperate measures. Survivalists can control their surroundings using traps and status effects. They are equipped with a precision crossbow as their signature weapon to take their targets down, even in the harshest of environments
- Demolitionist: Sometimes stealth is just not an option. Demolitionists are agents of chaos, focusing on disrupting enemy plans and entrenched positions using a grenade launcher as their signature weapon.
- Sharpshooter: A Specialization for Agents looking at taking their targets out, without them ever realizing what hit them. Sharpshooters can change the tide of a battle from afar using a powerful sniper rifle as their signature weapon.
New Faction
- Black Tusks: An invading faction that employ aggressive tactics, high-end weaponry, and deadly turret drones. They’ll fight relentlessly for every inch of ground, and even players who make it to the level cap of 30 have a tough road ahead as the Black Tusks sweep in to take control of the capital.
New Features
- PVP: Take on other players to prove your skills and earn powerful high-end gear.
- New Co-op Activities: Embark on brand-new missions that offer some of the greatest challenges the Division has faced yet.
- Clans: Agents are more powerful together, so take advantage of new ways to not only play with, but connect with other players.
The Division 2 is getting an open beta, which will run from March 1 to March 4 on all platforms. Ubisoft hasn’t specified exactly what the open beta will contain, but it will very likely feature some endgame content.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 hits PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on March 15.
