Nintendo’s hybrid gaming console, the Nintendo Switch, has been well received by the general public, with the gaming console having sold over 32 Million units worldwide by the end of 2018. While the Switch has its own fans, a lot of its sales were generated because of the exclusive game titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokemon: Let’s Go, and a few others.
If you have been itching to play these Switch-exclusive titles on your Android device….you still can’t. But you would be glad to know that work is in progress to bring over a Nintendo Switch emulator to Android, though it will be quite a while before you can start playing games on it.
XDA Member Cyubii‘s MonoNX is an extremely experimental Nintendo Switch emulator for Android. In its current state, the emulator does not display any graphics, just the console output. Because of its experimental state, it also runs very slowly and runs only old homebrew. In its current state, you cannot play any games on it. The app is open-source, so if you can, consider contributing to the development of the project.
