Devil May Cry 5 Doesn’t Feature Alternate Outfits Outside Of Pre-Order Bonuses; No DLC Plans Outside Of Bloody Palace

Devil May Cry 5

Previous entries in the Devil May Cry series featured plenty of alternate outfits, but it seems like this isn’t going to be the same for Devil May Cry 5.

Producer Matt Walker recently revealed that Devil May Cry 5 will not feature any alternate outfits outside of the alt colors provided as a preorder bonus.

It seems like none are also coming at a later time through free or paid DLC, as the team currently has no plans to release additional content after launch outside of the Blood Palace.

Devil May Cry 5 is the first main entry in the series to feature three playable characters from the get-go, not counting Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition. Nero, Dante, and V play quite differently from one another, and the new character comes with a very interesting fighting style.

The idea of playing as V, a guy who has a dedicated button to recite William Blake poetry during combat (yes, I know) should be enough to disgust me. But I’m looking past all of that because V is just far too much fun to play. I can’t wait to unlock his full repertoire when Devil May Cry 5 comes out, become as familiar with him as I have all of the other Devil May Cry characters and spend an ungodly amount of time suffering the Bloody Palace.

Devil May Cry 5 launches on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in all regions on March 8th.
